Prior to flying on any operational space mission all instruments must pass through a rigorous testing program. NASA tested the Fisher Space Pens for no less than two years before accepting the Fisher Pens.

Operating conditions:

• Write in the gravity free vacuum of space
• Must write at any angle

Fisher Pens are used on NASA's Apollo Missions and Shuttle Missions. Fisher Pens are used on the Russian Soyuz and MIR Space Flights. Fisher Pens are also used on the French ARIANE space program.
